Dr. Alison Sutton was raised and has lived most of her life in Oshawa. From a very young age, she felt a deep connection to animals and a desire to advocate for their care. She began her long career as a co-op student at a local clinic where she later returned to work as a veterinarian.

Alison graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999 and practiced in Toronto for 2 years before coming home to Oshawa. She worked for 15 years at the clinic she grew up in, then spent 5 years at a smaller country clinic out east. She has now returned to the area she has always called home.

She treats mostly small animals and has a passion for wildlife, volunteering with a local wildlife rescue and the turtle conservation centre.

In the clinic, she has a special interest in ophthalmology, small animal dentistry, and complex internal medicine cases.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with her husband, two children, 3 cats, 3 dogs, a gecko, and a hedgehog. She loves kayaking, hiking, and camping.
