Dr. Kayla Sangster

Veterinarian 

Dr. Sangster has nurtured a deep-se ambition to become a veterinarian from an early age, a dream that has guided her throughout her life. To immerse herself in the veterinary field and gain practical experience, she took on the role of an assistant at a veterinary clinic while she was a university student.

This hands-on experience complemented her academic journey, culminating her graduation from the esteemed Ontario Veterinary College at the University Guelph in 2018, which marked a significant milestone in her pursuit of veterinary career. In an exciting development for her professional path, Dr. Sangster joined the committed team at Rossland Animal Hospital in August 2024. Within this new role, she is enthusiastic about focusing her efforts on various aspects of veterinary medicine, particularly in the areas of preventative care, animal behavior, nutrition, and surgical procedures. Her diverse interests reflect her dedication to providing care and improving the well-being of in her practice.
